At World Debate Consulting, we’re proud to share the success of our recent collaboration with the Central American Integration System (SICA), where educational leaders and youth advocates gathered for the Regional Exchange of Best Practices on public educational policies. This event brought together key figures across Central America to explore how youth participation, inclusivity, and democracy can shape the future of education in the region.
A Day of Insightful Dialogue
Held on October 1, 2024, the event featured a series of engaging discussions and panels, where leaders exchanged valuable strategies and insights on how to empower the next generation. Here’s a look back at some of the key moments:
A Warm Welcome from CECC/SICA
The day began with opening remarks from Roberto Suárez, Executive Secretary of SICA’s Educational and Cultural Coordination. He emphasized the importance of creating regional spaces where young voices are at the forefront of decision-making, setting the tone for the day’s conversations.El Salvador’s Educational Leadership
Mauricio Pineda, Minister of Education, Science, and Technology of El Salvador, delivered a compelling address on the role of educational authorities in fostering environments of tolerance, inclusion, and democratic engagement for youth.
